Wodify Introduces New CEO and Chief Product Officer

A History of Innovation

In 2012, Ameet Shah launched Wodify, a first-of-its-kind digital performance tracking tool. At a CrossFit gym in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, a small group of athletes were the first to experience what would soon become a global revolution in the fitness industry.

Over the following years, Ameet successfully bootstrapped Wodify into a leading software company. What started as a passion project aimed at helping athletes track their workouts evolved into a complete gym management system, trusted by thousands of businesses worldwide.

More recently, Wodify has undergone another transformation, becoming the only Customer Retention Platform. Throughout its history, Wodify has remained committed to evolving its products to better serve the fitness industry.

Embracing this legacy of innovation and leadership, we are thrilled to introduce Brendan Rice as our new CEO and Matt Kenig as Chief Product Officer.  Ameet Shah will continue to stay closely involved as Chairman of the Board and a strategic advisor. 

Rice has spent over five years at Wodify, leading the marketing, sales, and customer success functions. He has a passion for fitness and enjoys being an ambassador for Wodify in the community. 

Kenig joined Wodify in 2020 and has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong track record of driving product improvements. In his new role, he will oversee the development roadmap and continued growth of Wodify’s product ecosystem.
