Your members already bring you their lab results, their medications, and the note from their doctor that said “start exercising.” The CrossFit Medical Society exists so you have a real answer.
The CrossFit Medical Society (CFMS) is a physician- and coach-led organization building the operating model that lets CrossFit affiliates function as the front line of preventive health. The premise is simple and well-supported: social and behavioral factors drive an estimated 80–90% of health outcomes, while clinical care accounts for only 10–20%. Affiliates see their people multiple times a week, in a trusted, coach-led community, in 150+ countries. Nothing in medicine has that contact frequency. What has been missing is not conviction — it is the operating model: how to do this legally, responsibly, and profitably. That is what CFMS provides.
Who we serve:
- Affiliate owners who have hit the ceiling of square footage and class hours, and want a second business model rather than a second location.
- Coaches who are already fielding health questions from members on statins, metformin, and SSRIs — and want the competence, the boundaries, and a credential with a ceiling above L2.

A CFMS Health Hub is a navigator and partner in health, not a medical clinic. Coaches recognize patterns, program, educate, refer, and document. They do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or interpret labs — licensed providers do that, and the model routes to them by design. A meaningful portion of the curriculum exists specifically to protect that boundary, and the affiliates who carry the designation.
