Elite Wellness Finds Greater Success After Returning to Wodify

Introducing Elite Wellness, a Florida fitness brand using Wodify to unify operations, deliver better reporting, and strengthen community connections across multiple locations.

Challenge

Marty and Elizabeth Priest were Wodify Core users from the very beginning when they were running their specialized fitness programs from their patio in Florida. With multiple locations, coaches, and members to look after, they decided they needed to cut some costs and switched to Triib, a cheaper gym management software system. Unfortunately, they soon realized the reporting and programming features they were used to simply weren’t available with their budget system. Their members also noticed the change. “When we switched to Triib, a lot of members were very upset,” said Elizabeth. “They couldn’t see their progress and it hurt us as a community.” Something had to change.

Solution

After less than six months with Triib, Elite Wellness switched back to Wodify and haven’t looked back since. Marty explained his rationale: “I don’t want to go cheap on my financial system. I don’t want to go cheap on my member relation system. Wodify is a little more expensive but we get far greater results. I think using using a better system allows us to run a better company overall.”
Elizabeth, who runs the programming side of Elite Wellness, feels the same way. “We definitely spend extra money on Wodify because it’s helped us. It’s saved us money, really. It might be a little more expensive up front, but it’s going to save you money in the long run.”

Results

Marty and Elizabeth Priest now operate four separate Elite Wellness locations in Florida, as well as a burgeoning online fitness program that allows them to reach members who can’t make it to their gyms. “Wodify really helps us from a dashboard reporting standpoint. I can get the information fast and start to make some informed business decisions,” says Marty.
He also has some advice for gym owners looking to switch. “Be patient, give feedback, and know that people are trying to work on your behalf to make the systems better. It cost us tens of thousands of dollars in memberships, lost memberships, and credit card processing fees through the switch to Triib and back to Wodify. The grass is not always greener.”
