Electronic record and signature disclosure
This disclosure explains your rights regarding the use of electronic records and signatures when engaging with businesses that use the electronic signature platform (the “Platform”).
1. Purpose
By selecting “I agree,” you consent to use electronic records and signatures for transactions conducted through the Platform. This includes receiving all required notices, disclosures, authorizations, and other records electronically. The business that you are engaging with (“the Business”) will deliver documents, notices, and disclosures electronically through this service.
2. Role of Wodify
Wodify Technologies, LLC (“Wodify”) provides the technology that enables secure document delivery and signature. Wodify is not a party to your transaction and does not control or verify the terms of any agreement between you and the Business.
3. Legal Validity:
Electronic signatures executed through this Platform are legally binding and enforceable under all applicable laws and regulations governing electronic records and signatures in the jurisdictions where the parties conduct business.
By clicking “I agree,” you acknowledge that your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature and that electronically delivered records satisfy any legal requirement for written documentation.
4. Paper Copies
You may request a paper copy of any electronically signed document at no charge. Contact the Business directly using their provided contact information. Copies may also be downloaded at the time of signing.
5. Withdrawing Consent
You may withdraw your consent to receive electronic records at any time by notifying the Business. Withdrawal will not affect the validity of prior electronic signatures but may delay completion of future transactions.
6. Hardware and Software Requirements
To access and retain electronic documents, you will need:
- A device with internet access and a current web browser;
- A valid email address; and
- A PDF viewer (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader).
7. Data Privacy
Your personal data and signed documents are processed and stored securely in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR (EU), CCPA (U.S.), and similar frameworks. The Business acts as the data controller, and Wodify acts as its data processor.
